Hello,
I will be traveling to San Francisco soon and, if possible, I would
love to find a few boxes while I am there. I will be at the Golden
Gateway Holiday Inn, which seems to be near the Moscone Convention
Center. I would really appreciate some recommendations, especially to
boxes that are accessible by public transportation, since I am not
sure that I will have a car.
Thanks!
Amy

There aren't many (if any) boxes near where you are staying, but I'd head to Golden Gate park by taking the 38 Geary and getting off at Arguello or Land's End/Sutro baths area by taking the 38 to 48th ave. I don't know how long you have, but this would allow you to find several boxes on one trip.
Where you are staying is not really close to Moscone Cntr, fyi. You'll be within walking distance of Japantown and VanNess Muni, but if you will be needing to get to Moscone Cntr, you'll have a good walk through a not so great area or you'll need to take the bus.

Thanks for the tips! This is my first trip there and I do not know
San Francisco at all, so I was hoping to find an area that I could
get to easily and that has a few boxes. It sounds like either of
these areas would be a good choice. I also appreciate the advice
about the Convention Center. Fortunately (from the sound of things)
I do not actually have to go there as my meeting is in the hotel
itself, but this is good information to have.
